Melkor is definitely a car collector.  He goes through them fairly frequently because he always likes to have a new, shiny toy.  I’m pretty sure he’s had every kind of fancy car you can think of, some of them more than once.  (Right now, he has a Lykan Hypersport.  It’s completely impractical and he loves it.  Gothmog goes more for older cars, especially 80s muscle cars.  He likes to fix them up sometimes, when he has the spare time.  His last project and current ride is a Thunderbird, circa 1980.  Thuringwethil likes a very smart looking car, something expensive and stylish and modern.  She currently drives a BMW 5-series.

Mairon, contrary to the jokes that Melkor likes to make, does have a drivers’ license.  He just doesn’t own a car.  He has, in the past, claims that it’s because he likes the work he can done on a bus or in a cab.  The real reason these days is because, well, Melkor has a car.  But if Mairon was going to buy a car, he’d probably buy something stupid like a Tesla.  Something unnecessarily flashy and tech-y.  He likes to show off, in case you hadn’t noticed.

Sidebar: Mairon was about one millimeter from buying a motorcycle when he was out at Tol-in-Gaurhoth.  He’s always liked them, but was never really inclined to buy one, except when he was having his post-break-up tantrum.

Post-sidebar: He’s never said anything about it, but I think he’d lose his goddamn mind if Melkor got a motorcycle.  As in, he’d think it was, uh, shall we say, really hot.
