Sauron as Annatar. The beauty of him lured the elves and the men in the second age.
I am re-reading Silmarillion and it is damn awesome. There are some badass characters in those books. Lúthien especially. Without her and Huan, Beren would never have been able to get the Silmaril.
Anyway, Sauron in all his forms are one of my fave characters in all the books.

Just like – Mairon wanted to use Annatar to get close and observe Tyelpë so he could use him in the best possible way……….. But oh no turns out he was cute and suddenly it’s a lot more difficult to be evil.

Inktober Day 2 : Annatar
I started with the idea of drawing something cute, fair and lovely. Like pony unicorn galloping through the sea of Diet Mountain Dew and vomiting rainbows and lollipops.
Then something definitely went wrong and I ended drawing Sauron as Annatar XD

Celebrimbor is late to a party so Annatar goes out on the balcony to wait for him and Tyelpe sees him and goes “wow how is someone so beautiful so effortlessly”
meanwhile u know this bitch spent twenty minutes making sure that the backlighting was working to maximum effect and he had just the right effortless angle
Update: my mom has been calling this “The Yellow Lady” and I don’t have the heart to correct her
also the balcony gives me juliet vibes, if juliet was actually an eldritch monster wearing the skin of a pretty woman, who would sooner unhinge her jaw and eat you than kiss you (via @sauwuron)
